The Rockrider E-ST900 is excellent value for money

I managed to borrow one of these recently, and wrote a review on my sister site ebikechoices.com. The main thing that struck me about the Rockrider E-ST900 was how much it offered for the price.

First of all, this electric mountain bike uses the excellent Brose mid-drive motor – a motor only usually found on more expensive ebikes. This motor is a great piece of German engineering and develops a whopping 90Nm of peak torque!

The other thing that impressed me was the 500+Wh battery capacity, which should give any rider enough juice for a good few hours of fun on the trails.

To top it all off, this bike also has some excellent high-level components, like Shimano’s excellent M6000 10-speed groupset, with an 11-42 cassette. Rockshox Judy front suspension forks, and decent Tektro TKD32 hydraulic disc brakes.

The whole package is finished off with wide tubeless-ready rims and sports wide 2.8″ tyres, making this a hardtail electric mountain bike, that is more than capable for off-road riding.
