FOCUS SAM² – Developed for downhill

The FOCUS SAM² is made to let it rip in the toughest terrain. Having said that, it was super important for Focus to keep the SAM2 DNA alive: keeping the abilities balanced between uphill and downhill. The seat angle was chosen for excellent climbing properties and the wheel size for the best traction and rollover behavior. The FOCUS flip chip option allows customization for those who want it more radical. This is the formula for the new definition of e-enduro.

Super powerful and dynamic e-support

The efficient Bosch Performance CX E-Drive (Gen.4) supports you with a powerful 85 Nm up to 25 km/h. The most powerful electric motor from Bosch is perfectly integrated, the SAM² is agile and manoeuvrable. In eMTB mode, the motor optimally adjusts the support according to your performance. Thanks to the integrated, removable 625 Wh battery, you can ride all your trails over and over again.

Optimum suspension performance for every situation

The FOLD chassis is specially tailored to the increased requirements of a downhill-oriented E-MTB. This is how Focus guarantees the perfect mix on the E-Enduro FOCUS SAM²: FOLD responds extremely sensitively, but still offers enough progressiveness so that the damper does not bottom out.

Made for descents

With modern, descent-oriented geometry, 170 mm suspension travel and fast 29″ wheels, the FOCUS SAM² is made for the toughest downhill trails. The descent-oriented orientation is also underlined by the suspension fork with 38 mm stanchions. The fully integrated CIS cable routing also ensures a tidy Cockpit and thanks to the FOCUS Flip Chip, there is the option to ride with 27.5″ wheels and super short chainstays (430 mm).
