The 2020 Trek Powerfly FS 5 full suspension electric mountain bike is the way forward for more adventurous trail riding. The suspension enables you to maximise the potential of Bosch pedal assist by soaking up the rugged terrain so you can enjoy a smooth ride.

Trek’s RIB Removal Integrated Battery system not only looks super sleek but is also super use friendly. The battery is fully hidden inside the frame to protect it from damage and wear and is easy to remove for charging and storage without the use of tools.

It also enables you to mount a bottle cage on the downtube, even on full-suspension bikes. The Purion controller has a Walk Assist mode, and a variable intelligent eMTB mode that automatically delivers the optimum power assist depending on your terrain.

Spec’ed with a crisp shifting Shimano Deore groupset, you can rip through gear confidently as the gradient changes, and with a wide range cassette you’ll never be struggling for a gear when climbing the steepest hills, propelled to the top by Powerfly paired with Bosch.

The Bontrager Kovee wheels are tubeless ready, so you can convert your wheels to enable you to run lower pressures for more grip on the trail, as well as massively reducing your chances of picking up punctures.

Rockshox suspension with 130mm of travel is supple and tuneable and will see your descending confidence soar. But it’s not only your suspension that will have you ripping down descents faster than ever before.

Powerful Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes mean you can brake later and carry your speed further in full confidence you’ll have the stopping power when you need it, and the TranzX dropper seatpost lets you get your weight back over the bike on steep and technical descents for optimal control and stability.
