Amazing value for a torque sensing city e-bike
The Eleglide Citycrosser has a great specification for the price. Torque-sensing pedal assist is rarely found on e-bikes below €1000, but the Citycrosser has it, along with a very sleek frame and integrated battery. It looks very neat and practical - put a basket on the front rack, and you've got a cheap shopping bike! The claimed range of 46 miles does seem a little optimistic, but maybe possible in the lowest assist mode. PROS:
- Clean lines - looks neat!
- Torque-sensing pedal assist
- Integrated battery
- Front cargo rack
CONS:
- Lower capacity battery
- Brakes could be better
great value
Great value electric bike
The Eleglide M1 Plus is excellent value for money. In the time I tested one of these, I covered nearly 200 trouble-free miles. Battery range is respectable - I used to get 30-40 miles average out of a charge. Performance is okay, and should be enough for most people. The build quality is better than I'd expect on a budget e-bike. My only complaint was the delay in pedal assist, and the forks would not cope with anything other than mild off-road riding. If you're after a cheap e-bike to get from A to B, the Eleglide M1 Plus is well worth considering. PROS:
- Excellent value for money
- Decent performance
- Comfortable
- Battery range is quite good
- Nicely finished off
CONS:
- Start delay on pedal assist
- Forks are only suitable for light off-road riding
