I have to say that I love my impel 3.
It’s my first ebike and at the grand old age of 53, I really have noticed the difference in riding long distances.
I moved over to the Carrera impel 3 from a manual bike after I broke my ankle and i can honestly say I really wasn’t expecting it to be as much fun as it is.
I no longer dread those inclines that just seem to zap your energy because they just seem to go on forever. It’s like those
hills are no longer there and what can sometimes feel like a chore has all of a sudden become fun again.
The seat on the impel has to be the comfiest seat ever, because I can ride miles and no longer get off only to walk like a cowboy.
One thing I’m not impressed with is the ridged forks, that just feel every single bump. I really wish they would have added suspension forks to the front instead and
this bike would have been almost perfect in my eyes.
Like all electric bikes, it’s a heavy old thing. So, if you need to carry it anywhere like upstairs into your flat etc, I’d make sure you can do it first.
If you have any sort medical issue, then it might be worth either speaking to your doctor first or simply buying something else.
However, it’s a very comfy ride that genuinely makes you want to go out more and more and I really can’t wait for the summer.
