Best Women’s Electric Bike under £1000 – The Verdict

All of the electric bikes in this selection have their good and bad points, but one thing’s for sure – they all represent excellent value for money.

If I had to pick a winner, it would have to be the Rockrider E-ST100 Women’s electric mountain bike – it simply offers the best specification for the price and being a mountain bike, it is a versatile all-rounder.

If you’re after something more commuter-friendly, then I would have no hesitation in recommending the Eskute Wayfarer – this bike is not only comfortable, but it has an excellent battery range and is also fully equipped to cope with all the British weather can throw at it!

If you’re not bothered about mudguards and pannier racks, the Carrera Subway E Women’s electric bike is good value at £1099 – it offers so much for the money, including sophisticated torque-sensing pedal assist, great components and hydraulic disc brakes, all wrapped-up in a rugged frame that can cope with urban commuting and riding rough country back roads.

At the budget end of the scale, if you are after a cheap run around with good battery range then the Bezior M2 is hard to beat at under £1000.
